The Jersey Shore chapter of the American Woodcock Society and the NJ Fish and Wildlife team have completed our fifth partnership for a habitat/planting project on NJ Wildlife Management areas. This important partnership between the two organizations has delivered 5 successful planting projects in NJ over the past 5 years! The NJ Fish and Wildlife team had begun the reclamation of a series of fields at Dennis Creek WMA, Cape May County NJ by hydro axing a total of 6 acres in February 2023. The 2nd Annual Ruffed Grouse Society, Iron Grouse Shoot will be held Saturday July 11, 2026, at the Bradford Gun Club in Bradford, Pennsylvania. This event will challenge participants in 4 different clay target shooting categories: Skeet, Trap, Sporting Clays & 5-Stand.
– Includes 125 targets, morning coffee, pastries, lunch, and prize drawings. Â We prefer early registration but will accept walk-ins if space permits.
Limited to 120 shooters. Please Note: Groups who want to shoot together MUST preregister!
Proceeds go toward conservation of forest wildlife and support of the local chapter.
