Central Maryland Chapter Sporting Clay Shoot and BBQ Fundraiser

Join us for an exciting afternoon of sporting clays, fellowship, and conservation at our annual Sporting Clay Shoot and BBQ Fundraiser. The event begins with a 75-target sporting clay shoot, followed by a delicious BBQ lunch featuring an oyster bar and locally crafted beer from a regional farm brewery. Guests will also enjoy silent, write-in, and live auctions with a variety of unique items and experiences. Businesses and individuals can support the event by sponsoring a shooting station or event amenities such as the lunch, oyster bar, beverages or event tent. Are you interested in getting more involved with the Ruffed Grouse Society & American Woodcock Society? Well, you’re not alone, we’ve heard from members who are interested in starting a chapter in the Romney, West Virginia, area and they need your help! We’re holding a simple meeting to discuss starting a chapter, current habitat work in West Virginia and what we can accomplish as a chapter. Event highlights include a round of clays at First Mine Run, oysters by Pro Schuckers, BBQ lunch by Mission BBQ, field dog demo Mason-Dixon Game Outfitters’ Kim Lewis, Project Healing Water Fly Fishing casting demos, RGS & AWS Membership Drive, 50/50, Silent Auction, local chapter habitat update, and more.
