
The Jersey Shore chapter of the American Woodcock Society, in partnership with New Jersey Fish and Wildlife, has identified its spring 2025 woodcock habitat project at Dennis Creek Wildlife Management Area in Cape May County, New Jersey. This will be a continuation of the 2023 project. Volunteers will revisit the 2023 plantings of northern bayberry seedlings, remove plant protectors, and mark the locations of viable plantings using bamboo stakes and contractor tape.
