Central Maryland Meeting at First Mine Run

The next meeting of the RGS & AWS Central Maryland Chapter will be held at First Mine Run in White Hall, MD from 5-7 p.m. on May 28. We’ll have a cookout and a quick round of 5-stand, so bring shotguns and shells.

The business meeting will cover:

  • Election of Officers
  • Chapter hunting trips
  • Habitat projects in southern Maryland
  • Game Fair 2025 planning

We hope to see you there! We’d really appreciate hearing about your interest in the Chapter, even if you can’t make this meeting.

Central Maryland Chapter Holiday Party

Come join us for an end-of-year meeting and some time to swap stories from the season. Catered meal by Mission BBQ and variety of non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. Please BYOB if you prefer.

Backbone Mountain Chapter Birds and Brew

You’re invited to our August Birds and Brew! Come meet others eager to talk about all things conservation, bird dogs and upland hunting.

Folks looking for an upland community or who are just getting into bird dogs and grouse hunting are encouraged to attend. Meet leaders from the Backbone Mountain Chapter and learn how you can get involved with our work and mission. The event is free with pints available for purchase from Brewery and the Beast.

Highlights including a round of clays at First Mine Run, oysters by Pro Shuckers, food by Mission BBQ, falconry demo by master falconer Paul Wienecke and field dog demo Mason-Dixon Game Outfitters’ Kim Lewis, Project Healing Water Fly Fishing casting demos, The Mill, RGS & AWS Membership Drive, 50/50, Silent Auction, local chapter habitat update, and more.
