Green Mountain Volunteer Habitat Day 2026

April 15, 2026 by Alison Kelley

Explore the recent timber harvest at Grass Mountain with Public Lands Forester Melly Napper and help install tree shelters around oak seedlings.

In addition to creating wildlife habitat, timber harvests help fund other restoration work across the landscape, including oak plantings and restoration efforts along sections of Little White Creek.

Lunch provided.

Expect and prepare to hike at least 1 mile on uneven ground.

RSVP to Melly Napper: 802-712-4885, AmeliaN@ruffedgrousesociety.org
