Kentucky River Chapter Shoot 2025

Join the Kentucky River Chapter for a fun shoot before the hunting seasons begin. Lunch and drinks provided by the chapter. Prizes for the top 3 shooters will be awarded.

Shooters will need at least 4 boxes (100 shells), eye and hearing protection. Carts are available to rent day of from Bluegrass Sportsmen’s League.

Join the KY River Chapter for a fun evening of socializing and camaraderie.
The chapter has big plans for multiple events this year,
so come out and join the chapter in planning and get involved!

Kentucky River Chapter Public Land Woodcock Hunt

Join the Kentucky River Chapter to kick off your bird season with a public land woodcock hunt! This is a fun hunt to get out and experience upland hunting in Kentucky. Attendees are encouraged to bring their bird dogs. We will meet at the McDonald’s at 400 Connector Road in Georgetown, Kentucky at 7 a.m. At that time, we will make groups for the day’s hunt, then head to Griffith Woods WMA at 8 a.m. After the hunt we will enjoy a tailgate lunch as a group. Join us for our annual banquet.

Your attendance supports forest wildlife conservation efforts in our region and is a fun opportunity to meet other conservation leaders and win all sorts of items and prizes geared toward hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Proceeds go toward conservation of forest wildlife and support of the local chapter.
