WILDLIFE HABITAT AND ENJOY TIME OUTDOORS!
WE’LL BE TACKLING SEVERAL IMPORTANT STEWARDSHIP PROJECTS, INCLUDING:
Timber Stand Improvement (TSI): Using hand tools to release oak trees from
competition and boost site diversity.
Trail maintenance: Removing downed logs, mowing and clearing the Hunter
Walking Trails.
Trash pickup and gate repairs.
WHAT TO BRING: Water, sunscreen, gloves, bug spray, loppers and/or hand saws

It is finally spring and that means we are looking for volunteers to help assist with planting 3,000 Red Oak at Old Koschak WMA in Ely, MN! They will be planted across 6 different sites. Volunteers will need to bring their own PPE, water, food and snacks (a limited amount of water and Gatorade will be onsite.)
