Grand Rapids Michigan Chapter Brad Bachelder Memorial Youth Hunt – 2026

Registration will include shooting/hunting instructions, warm-up clays, and a guided three-bird hunt and lunch. An orange hat, orange vest, and protective eyewear are required for each hunter.

$35 per hunter, includes 1 year Junior RGS membership

All youths must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
Participation is limited to 18 youths. (12 to 17 years of age)

Celebrating the season ahead and MI GEMS (Grouse Enhanced Management Sites) in partnership with the Michigan DNR. Participants will receive a day of presentations to better prepare themselves and their dogs for the 2025 hunting season. Food truck on-site for lunch! Michigan Call for Volunteers –

Join fellow members for a hands-on opportunity to restore and improve access to upland habitat impacted by recent storm damage. This volunteer event is a joint effort between MUCC’s On the Ground program and RGS & AWS.

Members from the Jim Foote Chapter (Gaylord/Grayling), Andy Ammann Chapter (Lansing) and Robert J. Lytle Chapter (Lapeer) will be on-site to support the project — and all members and chapters across the state are encouraged to attend.
