Proposal/Agreement Summary: Phase Three of Increasing Technical Assistance to Implement Management Plans that Improve Habitat on Private Lands in PA

Innovations: 1) Audubon Mid-Atlantic (AMA) is a partner, 2) we are working on late-successional habitat and carbon (through AMA enrolling landowners in Family Forest Carbon Program (FFCP)), 3) Domtar’s sourcing is a key part of the program
Impact: 1) 850 acres of management plans, 2) 900 acres of GWWA habitat, 3) 100 acres of wood thrush, 3) 600 trees planted, 4) 1,000 acres monitored, 5) 6,000 people reached 6) 230 volunteers participating
Partners and Chapter Contributions:
- AMA will recruit 100 acres of private lands into FFCP
- AMA will dedicate 1/3 of Josh Rittenhouse’s time to private landowner outreach
- Jeff Larkin will do monitoring
- Chapters will plan planting days
