Description: Of my current artwork a piece I recently completed a piece called “Loyal order of Grouse” which has given me the great deal of personal satisfaction and sense of discovery. A trip to the North woods of Wisconsin to grouse hunt this past October inspired this work (it contains tail feathers from a bird take on this hunt along with guinea fowl from our farm). This is an annual pilgrimage for a group of close friends this year’s effort seemed to make me more aware than ever we are aging and should cherish these trips together.
