Giving Tuesday

Healthy Forests. Abundant Wildlife. Conservation Ethic. Are you in?

DONATE TODAY

THIS GIVING TUESDAY,

PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR GROUSE IS!

Thanks to generous conservationists like you, RGS & AWS had a fantastic year of habitat work, team growth and mission impact. Here’s a 30,000′ view of why your continued support is a great investment today.

HABITAT IS HOME

WILDLIFE THRIVE THROUGH FOREST DISTURBANCE

ACREAGE IMPACT

Our Working Forest model is full speed ahead and making landscape-scale impact across our operating regions. For the latest and greatest, we encourage you to explore your local region:

Eastern Great Lakes     Mid-Atlantic
Northeast     Southern Appalachian
Western Great Lakes

GRANTS SECURED

Thanks to chapter matching opportunities and increased staff capacity, we have secured multiple, multi-year grants that will provide millions of dollars of habitat funding. Stay tuned for exact numbers!

PIONEER PROGRAMS

In many of our regions, we are being invited to facilitate new and revitalized habitat projects that pave the way for woodland wildlife renewal.

CHAPTERS ARE BACK IN ACTION

AND IT’S EASIER THAN EVER TO CONNECT

LIVE EVENTS

After a “weird” couple of years due to the pandemic, RGS & AWS chapters all across the country are meeting again to share great experiences with committed conservationists.
Explore Local Events

FIND YOUR CHAPTER

In 2022 we launched an interactive map allowing you to key in on your closest chapter. New chapters are sprouting up and recruiting members from your local outdoor community.
Find Your Local Chapter

LOCAL CHAPTER PAGES

If you’re new to RGS & AWS, it’s not always clear what it means to be a member of a local chapter. We now offer chapter profile pages on our website, allowing you to see who’s in charge locally, and what upcoming events you might want to be a part of. Haven’t gotten one for your chapter yet? Ask your Regional Engagement Coordinator!

OUR BROOD IS GROWING

MORE STAFF = MORE IMPACT

CONSERVATION DELIVERY

We DOUBLED our conservation delivery staff from 7 to 14, and are still hiring across our operating regions. Wanna know who’s who? Check out your local regional page, and maybe even find a role on our team!

SUPPORT &
OPERATIONS

In 2022 we added a grant support team to expand and accelerate our ability to secure large-scale project funding. At the local level, we added a team of Engagement Coordinators to foster chapter relationships.

MEMBERSHIP & MARKETING

Our team is committed to communicating regional activity and the relationship between fundraising and results. Better project mapping, event management and chapter tools all launched to serve current and new members.

A DONATION IN-HAND BEATS TWO IN THE BUSH

Many of you reading this may have been members for decades, and generously give of your time, talent and resources. Maybe others are seeing this for the first time.

On this occasion of Giving Tuesday, we’re asking all who can to contribute to this effort, so that 2023 expands all that we’ve accomplished in 2022.

If you’re impressed with how RGS & AWS have worked towards woodland habitat improvement in 2022, please consider making a gift today.

WITH GRATITUDE

OUR DEEPEST THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE DONATED SO FAR

We are continually humbled by our generous community of members who give above and beyond their means – time and time again. Please know that we do our absolute best to steward these resources wisely and strategically.

If you’ve already donated towards our Giving Tuesday campaign, please consider sharing this page with a friend.
