Join the Kentucky River Chapter to kick off your bird season with a public land woodcock hunt! This is a fun hunt to get out and experience upland hunting in Kentucky. Attendees are encouraged to bring their bird dogs.
We will meet at the McDonald’s at 400 Connector Road in Georgetown, Kentucky at 7 a.m. At that time, we will make groups for the day’s hunt, then head to Griffith Woods WMA at 8 a.m. After the hunt we will enjoy a tailgate lunch as a group. If you have any questions, please contact chapter president Tristan Moorehead.
All hunters will need the appropriate state hunting license and requirements for migratory birds.
