The H.C. Edwards and James River Chapters of the Ruffed Grouse Society would like you to join us for an evening of habitat presentations and conversation. Nick Biemiller, RGS & AWS Forest Conservation Director; Mike Dye, Statewide Turkey & Grouse Program Coordinator and Jean Lorber, Forest Conservation Scientist at The Nature Conservancy will be in attendance presenting what their organizations are working on in Virginia. After presentations guests are encouraged to ask questions and have an open dialogue with speakers on habitat work and where members can get involved. Food and drinks will be available from Starr Hill Brewery and the Dairy Market.
Starr Hill Brewery is partnering with RGS & AWS for their “Cheers for Charity” program! $1 from every pint sold the night of the event, and a $1 from every pint of “The Love” American Wheat Lager sold the entire month of December will be donated to the Virginia state Drummer Fund!
