Join the Georgia Chapter for a fun day of dog training and sporting clays. The day will begin with a pointing dog demonstration lead by Jerry Barnes. “The seminar will be geared toward the development of the Southern Appalachian gun dog. Key points being socialization, range of proper introduction techniques to include, bird, launcher, prey drive, retrieve, and gun introduction. With the goal being to have proper introduction to a void fixing problems later.” Bring your bird dogs and get hands on help to create the best Southern Appalachian gun dog they can be.
After the 2-3 hour seminar we will enjoy a BBQ lunch then head out to the sporting clays range. The seminar, lunch and 100 clays are all included in registration. The junior registration includes membership to RGS along with the seminar, lunch and 100 clays.
Shooters will need to bring 5 boxes of shells, hearing and eye protection.
Proceeds go toward conservation of forest wildlife and support of the local chapter.
