David V. Uihlein Chapter Habitat Day

The David V. Uihlein Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society is adopting the “Lost Lake” trail on Cedar Rapids Road, just north of Highway 70 in Price County.

We will be clearing trails of downed trees and then mowing the trails with a tow-behind mower provided to us by the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

Donuts, coffee and water will be provided in the morning and then we will break for lunch (burgers and brats) at the Smith Rapids Covered Bridge picnic area, returning to Lost Lake after lunch and wrap up our work mid-afternoon.  ATV/UTV’s are welcome on the workday.  Bring gloves, bug spray and loppers.
