RGS & AWS has entered into a collaborative partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Together, RGS & AWS and DNR are looking for a motivated individual to work effectively with private landowners, industrial land owners, multiple state property managers, multiple county forests, and the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest on forest habitat improvement initiatives in the north-west region of Wisconsin. Forest Wildlife Specialist – Forester – South Carolina (Private Lands)
RGS & AWS in partnership with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), are looking for a wildlife-oriented forester to work effectively with private forest landowners in the upstate of South Carolina. The selected individual will conduct outreach, collect and review data, draft forest management plans, and prepare stands for implementation for private landowners interested in being part of NRCS conservation programs like the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) while also promoting forest health and timber production objectives. Forest Wildlife Technician – Kenton, MI
Work jointly with RGS & AWS and the USFS to increase forest diversity and enhance habitat for forest wildlife on the Ottawa National Forest. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of silvicultural and vegetative management work on National Forest lands to achieve objectives from the Ottawa National Forest’s Land and Resource Management Plan. The Forestry Technician will be part of RGS & AWS’ Great Lakes and Upper Midwest conservation team and report to the Western UP Michigan Coordinator for daily and weekly assignments and to the RGS & AWS Eastern Great Lakes Forest Conservation Director for overall supervision. Vice President of Conservation – National
The VP of conservation will work closely with the CEO on all aspects of business development, especially leading market-driven approaches to forest conservation. The VP will lead innovation and grow conservation operations, including the FCD team. The VP will develop and direct processes, manage resources and drive overall operational performance to improve wildlife habitat at scale.
