The Pennsylvania Game Commission Northcentral Region and RGS Susquehanna River Valley Chapter are teaming up for a volunteer workday. 10 volunteers are needed to apply herbicide to invasives as part of a precursor to a larger commercial aspen sale on SGL 075. Herbicide application within the identified stands is a crucial step before full habitat potential can be realized. Volunteers will need to bring long sleeve shirts, pants, boots, and eye protection. Women’s Introduction to Wingshooting is a course for women and taught by women. On both Saturdays, the course starts at noon and ends at 4 p.m. On both Sundays, the course starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. Attendance is required for both weekends to graduate from the program.
