Amelia “Melly” Napper, RGS & AWS Public Lands Wildlife Forester, will lead exploration and conversation at Grass Mountain. Attendees will see the future project area and learn about the use of forest management and stewardship contracting to create habitat for wildlife and conduct stream restoration.
The habitat walk will take an estimated 2 to 3 hours and include up to 2 miles of walking. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather and walk.

Join us for our annual summer Birds and Brew! Connect with other hunters, bird dog owners, conservationists and upland enthusiasts. The evening is all about making connections and building community!
Beer, cocktails and food will be available for purchase. Stick around for the chapter meeting where we’ll be discussing on-going chapter events and habitat, and ideas for the future. We’d love your input!

The next meeting of the RGS & AWS Central Maryland Chapter will be held at First Mine Run in White Hall, MD from 5-7 p.m. on May 28. We’ll have a cookout and a quick round of 5-stand, so bring shotguns and shells.
