4th Annual Grouse ‘n’ Growlers Celebrating 10 Years of AWS and MI GEMS

Please join the RGS & AWS and Wild Card Outdoor Adventures at Tri-City Brewing for the evening to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the American Woodcock Society & the 10-year anniversary of the Michigan GEMS. Come hang and talk birds, dogs, habitat, conservation, and scatterguns with likeminded folks. All are welcome, both two legged and four legged! Food truck will be onsite!

Le Grand Traverse Chapter Chukar Challenge

8 a.m. STARTING TIMES BEGIN

FEE: $130

Participant with the best time and most leftover shells wins
Lead free/non-toxic shot only size 7-8
Each contestant will have 20 minutes to walk the course with their dog
No more than two dogs and a handler on the course at one time
4 birds per hunter
8 shells per hunter
Dogs and handlers must stay in marked boundaries
Dog may retrieve downed birds outside of boundaries
Time stops when all four birds are delivered or 20 minutes are hit.
Extra birds may be purchased
No alcohol permitted on the property

LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED AFTER THE EVENT

Getting a little cabin fever? So are we! That’s why we decided to kick-start the Jim Foote Chapter of RGS & AWS Spring 2024. Come out for the evening and talk birds, dogs, habitat, conservation, and scatterguns with passionate, like-minded folks.
