Getting a little cabin fever? So are we! That’s why we decided to kick-start the Jim Foote Chapter of RGS & AWS Spring 2024. Come out for the evening and talk birds, dogs, habitat, conservation, and scatterguns with passionate, like-minded folks. This is the first chapter event in years and we ask anyone that has an interest in joining the committee to attend; in being involved in the chapter to attend; and that includes both those two-legged and four-legged! Two-person team field trial, one dog entry per team (two guns per team) one judge per field.
7:30 a.m. start for Brace 1, 9:00 a.m. start for Brace 2
After the field trial, we will move to Two Hats Ranch in Big Rapids where we will have lunch at 11:30 a.m. and 50 rounds sporting clays starts at 12:30 p.m. No ammo provided or available.
There will be limited shade at Two Hats Ranch for dogs so please plan accordingly.

Come put boots on the ground and be a part of a work day to help build healthy forests and abundant wildlife. This work day is open to all ages.
People wishing to help should meet at the area office at 9 a.m. and carpool to the work site. We will be planting, tubing, and staking 300 apple and pear trees for soft mast adjacent to our previous aspen and alder planting. Planting sites will be started with gas powered auger, then expanded by shovel. Bring a shovel if possible.
Pizza will be provided for lunch.
