Central New York Chapter Project Appleseed Annual Habitat Day

Join the Central New York Chapter for their 2025 Project Appleseed Habitat Day!

RGS & AWS members will join students from SUNY ESF to plant 1,000 trees (quaking
aspen & balsam fir) in an existing 18-acre clear cut.

Tools, tree seedlings, and lunch are provided.

DIRECTIONS: From Tully-Truxton Rd., turn right on Maple Ridge Rd. and continue for another 0.4 miles, then turn right and go past the yellow gate (Foley Rd). Go 0.4 miles and park at the wide intersection.

Come and enjoy a morning of shooting Side-By-Sides and lunch with people who care about healthy forests, abundant wildlife and conservation ethic. Lunch provided! Breakfast available for purchase at the club. SXS Individual Shoot – Enter with any SxS Hunter Class – Open shoot – any style shotgun Team Shoot – Combine 3 individual’s SxS scores (Same gun name/mfr.) Squads – Max. 5 person or 250 targets per squad each round. Central New York Chapter Hunter Challenge & BBQ

Open to all shooters. Bring your friends and hunting buddies!
New to sporting clays? We can help. Come give it a try!

Hunter Class – 50 targets, field gun, any gauge, low gun start, delayed throw, 3 targets per station (plus 2), 4 shots allowed. Maximum shots allowed – 64.

Walk-ins welcome the day of for shooting only…no BBQ included.
