Central New York Chapter Project Appleseed Annual Habitat Day 2026

Join the Central New York Chapter for their 2026 Project Appleseed Habitat Day!

RGS & AWS members will join students from SUNY ESF to plant a mix of alder, birch,
mountain ash, silky dogwood, ninebark, red oak and Virginia rose.

Tools, tree seedlings, and lunch are provided.

 

DIRECTIONS: From Tully-Truxton Rd., turn right on Maple Ridge Rd. and continue for another 0.4 miles, then turn right and go past the yellow gate (Foley Rd). Go 0.4 miles and park at the wide intersection.

Central New York Chapter’s 11th Annual American Classic SxS Shoot

Come and enjoy a morning of shooting Side-By-Sides and lunch with people who care about healthy forests, abundant wildlife and conservation ethic. Lunch provided! Breakfast available for purchase at the club. SXS Individual Shoot – Enter with any SxS Hunter Class – Open shoot – any style shotgun Team Shoot – Combine 3 individual’s SxS scores (Same gun name/mfr.) Squads – Max. 5 person or 250 targets per squad each round. (Example: 5 people x 50 targets each, or 2 people x 100 targets each + 1 @ 50 or 3 people x 50 targets + 1 person x 100 targets, etc.) Skeet & Trap practice fields open...
