Southern Appalachian Chapter Cold Mountain Game Lands Site Visit

Join and RGS & AWS conservation staff to look at the Little East Fork project area. This project area includes a timber harvest and daylighting that occurred several years ago on the game land. Funds from the Asheville Chapter were used to pay for the roadside daylighting. We will be discussing the treatments response, ruffed grouse habitat requirements, and silvicultural practices that can lead to better outcomes for wildlife. We look forward to seeing you there!
