RGS & AWS’ Covers Magazine Honored at 2024 AGLOW Awards

October 9, 2024 by Ruffed Grouse Society

The Ruffed Grouse Society & American Woodcock Society (RGS & AWS) is proud to announce its quarterly magazine, Covers, has been recognized at the 2024 Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers (AGLOW) Awards-In-Craft held at the Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park.

In a celebration of excellence in outdoor communication, the AGLOW Annual Conference gathered industry leaders and creatives to honor outstanding achievements. Among the top honorees was the Spring 2024 issue of Covers magazine, which received accolades for its exceptional conservation content and contribution to print media. The issue, celebrating the 10th anniversary of AWS, showcased content exclusively about the American woodcock.

“Everyone at RGS & AWS takes immense pride in our daily conservation efforts. Every level of the organization is passionate about enhancing habitat and ensuring a thriving future for upland birds. It’s an honor to convey our mission through our magazine and for our team to receive recognition for this excellence,” shared Britney Booth, editor-in-chief of Covers magazine.

The awards, presented at AGLOW’s annual conference, spotlight the skill and dedication involved in producing high-quality content that resonates with readers and the outdoor community. This recognition underscores the commitment of RGS & AWS to promoting outdoor recreation and conservation through visually compelling and informative media.
