He brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to forest management informed by hands-on experience in silviculture, infrastructure planning and environmental compliance. He has served as chair of Maine Tree Farm, president of the Maine Amateur Hockey Association and a trustee of the Washburn Norlands Living History Center.
