Tennessee River Chapter Hunt

Join the Tennessee River Chapter for a great day of quail hunting at Dunaway Hunting & Fishing Club! Registration includes all food, drinks and 10 quail per person! If you have a hunting dog and don’t mind people hunting with you, please bring them! The club does have guides available for additional cost plus tip. If you are comfortable with other members hunting behind your dog we are going to need the help. We will make groups of three to hunt together putting members without dogs with members with dogs. If you plan to come with a full group when you register, please email Grant Erhard and let him know the names of your party or you can register as a full team of three.
Due to space restrictions in the hunting fields, we are going to be doing two waves of hunters. The first wave will arrive at 8am to start hunting by 9am. The second wave will arrive at 12 noon to meet the first wave coming out of the field at the cabin to have a big group lunch. During lunch we will have a habitat presentation from Dunaway Hunting & Fishing Club discussing what work they do on their property followed by RGS foresters speaking about ongoing habitat work in Tennessee. After lunch and habitat discussion the second wave will head to the field to begin their hunt.
A week prior to the hunt Grant Erhard will email you to inform you which wave you are going to be placed in. If you have a preference, please contact Grant and let him know. We will try to accommodate preferences the best we can.
 Hunters will need:
- Gun and ammo
- Blaze orange hat and vest
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Appropriate State hunting license
We have a cap of 36 hunters so don’t hesitate to register. We anticipate this hunt will fill fast and you won’t want to miss out!
