Susquehanna River Valley Chapter and PGC Habitat Day at SGL 134

The Susquehanna River Valley Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society is partnering with the Pennsylvania Game Commission for a habitat improvement project on State Game Lands 134 near Proctor on Saturday, April 11.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the installation of fencing around tree seedlings that have been planted at the site. Volunteers should bring work gloves and eye protection. We expect to finish by lunch time. Please bring your own water and snacks.

The PGC will furnish all of the tools and supplies needed. The event will take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.

We will be meeting at 8 a.m. at the old PGC Turkey Farm in Barbours. The address is 1145 Turkey Farm Road, Williamsport, PA 17701. We expect to finish by lunch time. Feel free to bring water and snacks.
