Project Tour: Two Rock Run Keystone Collaboration

July 22 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join the Ruffed Grouse Society & American Woodcock Society for a site visit to the recently completed Two Rock Run Keystone Collaboration Project.

This project was completed in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF). The discussion will be led by DCNR forester Brad Meyers, who oversaw the day-to-day operations of the contracted project. Aaron Lewis and Ben Larson will help with the discussion by explaining how this project is part of a landscape-level effort to increase habitat diversity across the state.

Please wear sturdy boots and long pants, as this visit could involve walking through a forested area. Bug spray and snake gaiters/chaps are also encouraged. If you have questions surrounding ruffed grouse or woodcock, interested in learning more about forest management or want to get involved more come on out!

LOCATION: Gated Road along 144 (41.1982, -77.84119)

RSVP to Aaron Lewis: AaronL@RuffedGrouseSociety.org or 906-523-8502
