Peak season in Northern Michigan, prime habitat, seasoned dogs, woodcock flights, historic lodging,
good food, knowledgeable huntsmen and excellent camaraderie – that’s what you can expect at the
Michigan Grouse & Woodcock Hunt this October!
Attendees will enjoy two full days of guided grouse and woodcock hunting and three nights of lodging and
meals at the historic North Branch Outing Club. Situated on 20 acres with 400 feet of frontage along the North
Branch of the Au Sable River, the club offers a unique experience in a storied setting.
This event is a great opportunity to connect with others who share a passion for upland hunting and
conservation. Each day, attendees will hunt in pairs with a designated huntsman/woman, rotating daily.
Participants are welcome to bring their own dogs, but it’s not required. Dogs are allowed on club grounds and
inside sleeping quarters.
The event is limited to 14 hunters, organized into seven hunt pairs – emphasizing conservation over competition.
Please note: The club has limited sleeping accommodations. Rooms will be double occupancy, with two beds per
room and shared bathrooms. Because of this, we strongly recommend registering in pairs. Single registrants will be
assigned a roommate.
