Le Grand Traverse Chapter Chukar Challenge
8 a.m. STARTING TIMES BEGIN
FEE: $130 limited to 40 participants
• Preregistration is required.
• Participant with the best time and most shells leftover wins.
• Lead-free/non-tox shot only, size 7-8.
• Each contestant will have 20 minutes to walk the course with their dog.
• No more than two dogs and a handler on the course at one time.
• Four birds per hunter, eight shells per hunter.
• Dogs and handlers must stay in marked boundaries. Dog may retrieve downed birds outside of boundaries.
• Time stops when all four birds are delivered or 20 minutes is reached.
• Extra birds may be purchased.
• No alcohol on the property.
LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED AFTER THE EVENT
Proceeds go toward conservation of forest wildlife and support of the local chapter.
