Grand Rapids, Michigan Chapter Woodcock Walk 2026 – 2 Dates!
April 8 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
7:45 -8:00pm: Gather in Prairie Overlook Parking lot.
8:00 – 8:20pm: Discussion on woodcock banding, woodcock biology, migration routes, etc.
8:20 – 8:30pm: Move to watching sites.
8:30 – Dark: Watch and listen to the Sky Dance of woodcock.
- This is an outside event, please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Viewing sites are approximately 200 yards from the parking lot. A Camp Chair and Binoculars are recommended.
- Alcohol is prohibited at Luton Park
- While we love our dogs, we ask that dogs do not attend.
This event is limited to 40 participants.
