Flambeau River State Forest Tree Planting Day

May 4 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join us on Monday, May 4 for a habitat day at the Flambeau River State Forest. We’ll meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Visitor Center, where RGS Forest Wildlife Specialist Ashley Strabel will be leading the event alongside Flambeau River State Forest forestry staff.

The goal for the day is to plant 1,000 trees provided by the DNR, focusing on swamp white oaks in areas impacted by emerald ash borer.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring knee-high boots if possible.
