This fun, casual morning of shooting is a way to meet your fellow chapter members, catch up on the latest bird hunting news, sharpen your shooting skills and enjoy and lunch with people who care about healthy forests, abundant wildlife and conservation ethic.
Single shooter: $40
Format is five stand with a wobble trap. Each shooter will shoot two rounds of 25 birds. One single and two doubles at each station. Winners based on total of two-round score.
An odd-colored bird will be randomly interspersed with orange birds. Those hitting the odd-colored bird will be given a chance in a drawing for a special prize for each odd-colored bird hit.
Warm up round between 9 and 10 a.m. may be shot at $6 per 25-bird round.
Lunch will be served after the shoot around noon. Refreshments will be provided. Beer will be available after the shoot at $1 per bottle.
Any gauge SxS may be used. Participants must provide their own ammunition.
Proceeds benefit the Ruffed Grouse Society’s conservation efforts.
