Central Maryland Meeting at First Mine Run 2026

The next meeting of the RGS & AWS Central Maryland Chapter will be held at First Mine Run in White Hall, MD on April 16. We’ll have a quick round of 5-stand at 5:30 p.m. so bring shotguns and shells.
The business meeting will cover:
- Election of Officers
- Chapter hunting trips
- Habitat projects in southern Maryland
- Game Fair 2026 planning
We hope to see you there! We’d really appreciate hearing about your interest in the Chapter, even if you can’t make this meeting.

Chapter Spotlight:
- We’re proud to share the successful completion of our recent habitat improvement project at Chapel Point State Park in support of the American Woodcock. Our team improved access to each field, established 10-foot clear lanes around field edges, and created 50-foot deep end zones.
These enhancements provide the open space needed for woodcock courtship displays while also promoting healthier, more dynamic habitat conditions for a variety of wildlife.
