Allegheny Chapter 2022 Hunter Mentor Program

New to Upland Bird Hunting? Course is open to ALL AGES. If you are under the age of 18, please send your  parent’s or guardian’s name and contact information. Classes will start promptly at 9 AM and registrants are expected to be present for all days and times of the entire course. Registration is limited to ten (10) students.

• Shotguns, ammo, hearing protection, and safety glasses are provided for class use.
• You may bring your own shotgun if desired, but it is not necessary.

Saturday, April 30: Gun Safety Class

Sunday, May 21: Identification of Grouse, Habitat & Navigation Class

Saturday, November 12: Dogs, First Aid in the Field Class & Hunting (Date TBD by PGC Season)

You will need a valid PA Hunting license with a migratory bird stamp to participate in the hunt. You must attend all 3 classes to participate in the hunt.
